("Do not use poisonous words against anyone, for, words wound more fatally than even arrows.")
There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father give him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.
The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.
Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all.
He told his father about it and father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.
The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails been pulled out.
The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said,"You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same again. When you say things in anger, They leave a scar just like this one.
You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.
("There is one religion, the religion of Love; There is only one language, the language of the heart; There is only one caste, the caste of humanity; There is only one law, the law of karma; There is only one god, He is omnipresent.")
oh Lord! Take my love and let it flow in fullness of devotion to Thee. oh Lord! Take my hands and let them work incessantly for Thee. oh Lord! Take my soul and let it be merged in one with Thee. oh Lord! Take my mind and thoughts and let them be in tune with Thee. oh Lord! Take my everything and let me be an instrument of Thee.

Nourishment For The Soul
("Prayer is the key of the morning and the bolt of the evening. Learn to be happy and be content where you are, do not run anywhere to secure happiness and contentment, have inner riches, not outer acquisitions.")
A Churchgoer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday."I've gone for 30 years now," he wrote,"and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I can't remember a single one of them. So, I think I'm wasting my time and the pastors are wasting their by giving sermons to all." This started a real controversy in the "Letters to the Editor" column, much to the delight of the editor. It went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher:
"I've been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals for me. But for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu of a single one of those meals. But I do know this.-They all nourished me and give me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not gives me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!"
When you are DOWN to nothing.....God is UP to something! faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible! Thank God for our physical.......AND.........our spiritual nourishment!.
("However much you try to fill water in a leaking bucket, it will never fill. Similarly, however much we are taught at places of worship or at school, if we do not put it into practice we cannot improve.")

I Love You Anyway
("Marriage is not a social security. It is for the spiritual union of two individuals.")
The fear of rejection may be one of the most basic fears in human nature. Here is a heart-warming story of a man who finally decided to ask his boss for a raise in salary. It was friday. He told his wife that morning what he was about to do, All day the man felt nervous and apprehensive. Late in the afternoon he summoned the courage to approach his employer. To his delight, the boss agreed to a raise.
The man arrived home to a beautiful table set with their best china. Candles were lighted. His wife had prepared a festive meal. Immediately he figured that someone from the office had tipped her off!
Finding his wife in the kitchen, he told her the good news. They embraced abd kissed, then sat down to a wonderful meal. Next to his plate the man found a beautiful lettered note. It read "Congratulations, darling! I know you'd get the raise! These things will tell you how much I love you."
While on his way to the kitchen, to get desert he noticed that a second card had fallen from her pocket. Picking it off the floor, he read:"Don't worry about not getting the raise! You deserve it anyway! These thing will tell you how much I love you.
Total acceptance! Total love. Her love for him was not contingent upon his success at work. In fact, just the opposite. If he were to fail at the office, if he were to be rejected by his boss he'd be all the more accepted at home. She stood behind him no matter what; softening the blows, healing the wounds, believing in him, loving him. We can be rejected by almost anyone if we're loved by one.
It takes......
3 seconds to say,"I love you",
3 minutes to explain it,
3 hours to demonstrate it,
3 days to appreciate it,
3 trimester to produce it,
But a LIFETIME to prove it!

The Struggles
"Whatever is to our advantage will appear right to us;
We do not usually look upon a matter from the other fellow's standpoint."
The struggles are just natural.....leave it to God. A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then, it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could, and it could go on further.
So, the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small shriveled wings. the man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spend the rest of its life crowing around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.
What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were god's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. If God allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as what we could have been. We could never been. We could never fly!

Harmony in the Heart;
Harmony in the Hand."
